What a red field is for

Night Vision Preservation

Red light has the least impact on your night-adapted vision. Use a red screen when you need to see your display in the dark without ruining your ability to see in low light.

Dead Pixel Testing

Stuck pixels on the red subpixel are only visible on a red screen. Cycle through red, green, and blue to test all three subpixels individually.

Photography & Video Lighting

Create dramatic red lighting for portrait photography, product shots, or video scenes. Your monitor acts as a large, controllable red light panel.

Ambient Mood Lighting

Set a warm, cozy atmosphere for movie nights, gaming sessions, or relaxation. Red light is known to promote a calming environment.
